"Waiting to Go"

"Waiting to Go" was a boat I photoed in Tarpon Springs Fla.  I painted it in oil to represent Murrell's Inlet waters. With a name changeto Murrells Inlet, it fits in with the South Carolina art scene a little better. This painting was shown at the Lakes at Litchfield for the month of April and is now back home and for sale.

Vintage Bike

"Vintage Bike" is my first attempt at a cycle for a friends birthday..Their new house is almost finished and this will go in their game room to complement their black granite etc. A challenge that took more planning and problem solving than expected but pleased with the result..hope he likes it.
May 21 update..the bike was a hugh success and they ended up purchasing another large painting.

"Sailing"

"Sailing" is an abstract done on canvas, using acrylics.  Sail boats so lend themselves to abstraction when I try and capture the movement and feelings..28x34" framed.

"Calm Sea"

Calm Sea is from a photo from a friend from Maine. I did a small painting on canvas for him and recently ran across the photo again, inspiring me to do this watermedia painting, from my abstract background. I love the transparent sails. 27x33'', framed and matted. This painting is currently for sale at the in the Seacoast Gallery in Market Common.

"Remembering Provence"

" Pelican with an Attitude"

This is one of the Murrells Inlet Pelican Welcoming Committee..He has an eye on you where ever you move on the pier on the Marsh Walk.
